complicit in our ecstasy
in such simplicities of touch
enunciating miracles
untold, untellable

let us thankfully recall
our momentary grace
unduly ravaged by our blessing
savaged by our love

where flesh and inner fire
articulate so well
the sermons of the heart
ideas dam the torrent
cavalcade of love
unnervingly, unhappily
