1.
articulated flesh enriched in the long holding
the gradual letting go
stillness extending bone onto bone, nerve onto nerve
flesh, blood, skin enraptured
honed flint on old stone striking
where the mind melts to the fading pain
cell to cell
these wakened radiant bones now burn
a fire in the nerves
a beacon in the eye
laughter surging, purging blood
kindles the heart in silent exhaltation
2.
past the long night of my slumbers
scattered flesh and wandering mind
gathered in this precise articulation of my cells
the dawn of a million million eyes
brings dew of love
upon my neck, my skull, my eye
my heart
beating slowly softly now
in utter silence
pulse of fire to my cells
in adoration
burns rivulets of flames through my flesh
shimmering inwards
to greet this flooding beauty
that being bright in every cell
going nowhere comes from nowhere
meaningless in being all
the purpose of my flesh
to radiate relentlessly
pierce the any looking eye, to see again
breach the any shuttered heart, to feel again
kindle every embered soul, to be again
regardless
